Nowruz, the first day of the solar year equal to the first of Farvardin, is the celebration of the beginning of the new year in several countries, including Iran, and is one of the most important celebrations left over from the Iranian era. The origin of Nowruz is celebrated in ancient Iran and in other special regions of Asia and parts of the world. Nowruz is the spring equinox and the beginning of the spring season.
